The boat dock to Spain and for all Pilgrims that are anxious to catch that boat- don't be in such a hurry to leave Portugal! Ola Vida is one of the many reasons for staying a little longer! Dimitri Costa is an excellent host of a very modern and warm Albergue with very inviting accommodation and he makes sure your stay is most pleasant. The town of Caminha is most charming and many places to explore!

Large room with clean, comfortable bunk beds. The room had a private bathroom, but there were also clean communal bathrooms. Good communal space, with potential for socialising (I arrived too late to enjoy it!).

We did the jeep tour and the island cruise and they were amazing! The guide has extensive knowledge of the local fauna and flora and showed us unique and marvellous places. We'll be back. Definitely one to repeat!

Apart from the obvious, the location, the decoration, the comfort of the space. The little treats and the extreme good taste and friendliness.

Excellent. With various activities to enjoy in Cerveira. We chose to hire bikes to cycle along the ecotrail and in the afternoon to go kayaking on the river, stopping off at the various islands in between. The staff were helpful and all the equipment was always disinfected.

Central location, very spacious room, comfortable bed, minimalist decor and very quiet.

Very pleasant staff. We were so enchanted by the jeep route that we did it twice. Beautiful hours spent characterised by magical places and living with the driver. I recommend it to anyone who loves and respects nature.

Handy for shops, they don't have laundry room but there is a launderette nearby. I booked 4x4 Jeep ride through mountains and trails excellent dropped off at Valença.

Dieses Hostel war ein wirklich richtig tolles auf meinem Portugiesischen Jakobsweg. Ein sehr freundlicher Gastgeber begrüßte mich, das Mehrbettzimmer mit Bad war sehr sauber, hatte eine große Fensterfront sogar mit Blick aufs Wasser. Eine gut ausgestattete Küche und ein schön eingerichteter, gemütlicher Aufenthaltsbereich rundeten das alles noch ab. Und als besonderes Erlebnis sehr zu empfehlen bei müden Wanderfüßen ist eine von dort aus angebotene Fahrt mit einem knallgelben Jeep hoch auf die Berge.....der Blick über den Rio Miño in herzlicher und lustiger Begleitung bleibt für mich unvergesslich

Stayed here while walking the Camino for one night and it was perfect! Located near the water taxis, supermarket and restaurants, the location of this hostel was definitely prime! Thank you to Dimitri as well for being the perfect host, and giving lots of recommendations in the local area. Would definitely recommend:)

I was here in April 2024. This place has its own charm and atmosphere. You can feel taken care of here. If you are a Camino pilgrim and want to cross to Spain by boat, the location is perfect because you have a 3-minute walk to the marina. I recommend it. I hope to stay here next time. I hope it will always be this nice here.

Ola Vida is a wonderful place to stay. Very clean room and bathroom. Decor is very cosy designer feel. Definitely a gem in Caminha. Highly recommend to anyone doing the Camino Santiago.
