The N/Hostel consists of rooms for 1 to 4 people, with private bathrooms, and collective dormitories for up to 8 people, with shared bathrooms. In addition to the accommodation, guests also have access to a common area, consisting of a kitchenette equipped with a microwave, fridge and other essential utensils for preparing and cooking light meals, as well as a common area with a dining counter, TV and sofas.
All our beds come with bed linen and 1 bath towel per person;
All the bathrooms have toiletries, including shower gel/shampoo and soap.
For stays of more than one night, the customer will not be entitled to a change of towels and/or sheets, but they must be changed after 3 days.
In-person check-in from 14:00 until 19:00, which can be extended to a later time in a non-in-person manner. If you wish to check in after 7pm, you must inform the Hostel in advance.
Check-out must take place by 10.30 a.m.
Cars can be left on the street near the hostel or in the public car park 50 metres away, but the hostel accepts no responsibility in the event of damage or vandalism.
Breakfast is not included in your stay. However, guests can enjoy some free basic perks such as coffee or tea, fruit and lemonade.
Wi-Fi is available in all accommodation and social areas.
The hostel has a cooling system in summer and heating in winter via fan coils and underfloor heating on the ground floor.
The accommodation is distributed over the ground floor, first floor and second floor with internal access via stairs;
The responsibility for missing or damaged objects and valuables inside the Hostel is the sole responsibility of the Customer. The Customer is also responsible for any damage caused in any area of the Hostel.
Olá Vida has the Personal Accident and Civil Liability insurance required by Portuguese law, which guarantees cover for the Tourist Entertainment Activities for which it has been authorised. Despite the insurance, each client must ensure that they are physically and psychologically fit to practise the activities they are going to do.
For minors, responsibility lies with their parents or legal representatives.
All participants in the activities must at all times comply with the instructions given in order to safeguard their own safety and that of third parties, failing which they will be excluded without the right to receive any refund.
In the event of an accident during an activity, due to disregard or recklessness of the Rules and Regulations defined by Ola Vida, Ola Vida shall not be held liable.
In certain situations, whether due to adverse weather conditions, safety or malfunctions, Olá Vida reserves the right to cancel bookings and offer to reschedule the activity or refund the payment made.
If the total number of participants booked has not been reduced by 24 hours before the scheduled date, no refund will be given.
As soon as you have the date(s) and type of accommodation or activities you want, you can make a direct purchase via the website or by email.
Payment must be made in full at the time of booking.
With regard to accommodation, ID, Citizen's Card or Passport is required at the time of check-in.
If check-in has to be done outside normal hours, the customer must send us a photo of their ID.
Rates are subject to change without prior notice
Cancellations made up to 15 days before the date of the event regarding accommodation or activity programmes will be refunded in full.
Cancellations made between 14 and 5 days before the date of the event will result in the loss of 50% of the total amount;
Cancellations made up to 4 days before the scheduled date imply a total loss of payment.
If the customer does not take advantage of the entire booking at their option, no refund will be given.
In the event of a no-show, the customer will not be entitled to a refund.
Refunds will be made, by bank transfer, within a maximum of 30 working days from the date of receipt by email, at the following address: info@olavida.pt. The customer must provide all the banking information necessary for the execution of the respective reimbursement.
For the resolution of any disputes, the laws of Portugal shall apply and the Portuguese courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
In the event of a dispute, the consumer can turn to the Alternative Dispute Resolution Body: CIAB - Centro de Informação, Mediação e Arbitragem de Consumo (Consumer Information, Mediation and Arbitration Centre) (Law no. 144/2015, of 8 September).
